Not to be guache, but I find it's better not to make assumptions in these scenarios. Is there actual sex that goes on at parties like Brut/Heaven/etc or is that mainly happening at the Horse Market events? I'm more of a sex party guy than a circuit dancefloor guy, but I often find it hard to read between the lines with parties I've never been to.
I had the same question for Folsom last year. It is kinda not obvious, I feel you. Rest assured, that almost every party is a sex party or has a dedicated place for that. At least, my Folsom experience suggests that. Dear locals, please correct me if I am wrong here.
You will have a great time and won't be left hungry.
Ok, newbie here. Can someone help me with attire and weather? I’m from TX where it’s 297°. I know it’s much cooler these and the forecast looks pretty chilly. As far as getting there, walking around the festival Sunday and everything pre-clothes check, what should I, realistically, bring to wear?
Thank you… I have a lot of those things already ready to go. I think my question was probably confusing. What I was meaning to ask is, has it ever been super chilly for this event? If so, what was that like?
I was unprepared myself... and this response from Andy wouldn't have helped (sorry boo!) ... I wore tall socks and boots and long jean shorts (tight ones) and then had to wear my leather shirt most nights just to be warm enough to walk to venues (when I could walk to them). Thankfully all the venues had clothes checks so you can wear warm clothes before hand and then just get naked. Obv the weekend is over so I hope you didn't freeze like I did. I couldn't wear half of the clothes I packed (short shorts, tank tops, crop tops) - I wore the same outfit many days because it was the warmest hoe look I had.
Andy - I think one helpful hint for the weekend (to put in bold at the start of this article) would've been that SF is historically very cool during the summer months. I asked locals if it was normal and they said it was usually cooler in summer and closer to fall it got warming (well into September) - (the girl checking IDs outside the eagle each night was wearing a winter coat every time I saw her). So, I was wholly unprepared given my wardrobe. Thankfully Dore on Sunday was a sunny and warm day. Just a note I think you should include at the beginning of this. It was the only thing I was not aware of coming from the east coast where we were currently experiencing 85+ degree weather. Anywayyyyy - great resource for the events, but yeah I think in the FAQs or at the start when talking about what to pack... mention that it might get down to 53 deg F like it was for nearly the whole weekend. Walking home from Dore sunday I froze my ass off and it was still sunny out :D
Very true. I lived there for so many years you sort of forget others need to know to either 1) walk fast because it's chilly or 2) wear a hoodie or 3) take a Lyft so you aren't outside too long. It's a common mistake for even general tourists. It's California but still can be chilly. I think in the Folsom guide I'm more clear about it, I'll be sure to be super explicit in both guides. I always focus on the day of the fair is almost always direct sunlight with no tall buildings and everyone is warm. Thanks for fdbk!

Prime and Beta are both at Club 6 where the basement will be very play focused. Rated X has a play area upstairs.

Harness, jock, boots. Jeans or hoe shorts. Singlets are also light to pack.
Many photo galleries linked in my guide.

1 0 0 % agree!!! This was the nature of my question and I didn’t know how to ask it any other way. I even followed up. But, I was in the same boat.
And apologies for missing your follow-up question.
It appears the Lust & Envy event Friday has been cancelled, can anyone confirm that?
Fb event says cancelled now.
Hey! Was waiting for that post! Thank you!
You didn't mention the Deviants. They are happening on Sunday, don't they?
And do the Say Love organizers do something on Dore Alley or is it just a Folsom-only party?
And Sneaks.
Yep - I need to add it ✅
